End of lease clean
A thorough, top-to-bottom clean of a rental property when a tenant is moving out, carried out to the standard a property manager inspects against at the final inspection. Also called a bond clean, move-out clean or vacate clean.
Bond clean
Another name for an end of lease clean. “Bond” refers to the rental bond (usually up to four weeks’ rent) held during the tenancy, which is returned when the property is left in the agreed condition.
Bond
A security deposit paid at the start of a tenancy and lodged with the relevant state authority (NSW Fair Trading). It is refunded at the end of the lease, subject to the property’s condition and any amounts owed.
Real-estate-standard checklist
The room-by-room list of tasks that property managers typically inspect against, covering the kitchen, bathrooms, bedrooms, living areas, windows, walls and floors. Our cleans follow this checklist.
Add-ons
Optional extras that can be bundled into your clean, such as carpet steam cleaning, oven and kitchen deep cleaning, and window cleaning.
72-hour re-clean guarantee
Our promise that, if your property manager or landlord is not satisfied with the clean, you can contact us within 72 hours and we will return to re-clean the flagged areas free of charge. It covers cleaning only, not the return of your bond.
Property manager / agent
The person or agency managing the rental property on behalf of the landlord, who carries out the final inspection.

The normal deterioration of a property from ordinary, everyday use over time. It is generally not something a tenant is charged for, and is different from damage or lack of cleaning.
